Started out using a JP X-Cite 120 and the Rushwind 5.8 had a really good time - practising chop hopping and Duck Gybing - thanks for the tips Doug! Towards the end of the evening the wind picked up and I took out the Evo 92 - Oh what a board.....!!! So small under the foot, planes really quick, I only had a 24cm fin with the 5.8 and it whopped up on the plane in a flash! Despite it's width 62cm because it is so short 232cm it wasn't bothered by the strong gusts that were coming through I managed to get it airbourne as well - in full view of the boyz on the beach - oh I love this sport.

Had a good laugh with Doug and Al, chasing each other around the lake, Al was pulling off Monkey Gybes and Doug was practising Vulcans. All in all a really great evening, came off the water just after 9pm - don't you just love the Summer nights....

Hans.
